Course Description
Indigenous peoples have always had their own law. Moreover, they have had to engage with the law of the colonizer from the onset of contact. This course will consider how Indigenous peoples have contemplated their own law, the law of the colonizer, and the concept of law more broadly by engaging directly with the production of Indigenous legal thinkers.
