FIN 429/529 is intended to help you to understand the economy, the stock market, the bond market, currencies, monetary policy, and fiscal policy through the use of current market and economic news. The goal is for members of the class to become more conversant about the markets, economy, and monetary and fiscal policy. In addition, this course is intended to help you to learn how to process the financial news, stay up to date, and become a more-informed citizen.
