Course Description
Toxicological risk assessment and medical statistical applications are the processes of estimating the qualitative and quantitative health risks posed to humans and the environment by the use of chemicals (household and industrial), drugs and supplements, cosmetics and self-care products, and food additives. In this course, students will learn general procedures of toxicological risk assessments, emphasizing hazards and risk posed to humans and the environment. We will address categories of chemical substances and apply statistical data to human exposures.
