Clinical Skills I is the first in a three-semester course series designed to prepare the physician assistant student with the foundational knowledge, skills, and abilities to work in the clinical setting. This course will offer content on basic clinical skills essential to medical practice. In the first course, students will learn how to take a focused and comprehensive history from patients with an emphasis on person-centered language and professionalism.
