Course Description

This course covers the forensic science enterprise and established methods used to detect, collect, preserve and examine crime scene evidence as well as the legal requirements governing evidence and expert testimony. We will explore the application of the scientific method, technical protocols, and instrumentation to a variety of evidence types including physical, chemical, and biological samples.
