Course ID
043814
Course Description
Develop analytical models for business problems. Models include supervised models with nearest neighbors, naïve Bayes, linear regression, and logistic regression, and unsupervised models with association rules and k-means clustering. Variable selection occurs through penalized regression and penalized likelihood. Problem datasets will need preparation, including handling missing values. This course includes a group model building project with a presentation and a separate individual model building project with a written report.
