Course Description

This course introduces key concepts for understanding, interpreting and conducting ethical and culturally competent counseling research, including an analysis of measurement methods, descriptive and inferential statistics, and program development and evaluation. This course, therefore, informs the examination of individual and group behavior as well as program evaluation. Finally, it fosters counselor professional development and identity through critical-but-balanced evaluation of scholarship and programs.
