This class will focus on expanding your understanding and control over the dominant conventions of narrative storytelling. Through an exploration of the skills, techniques and concepts used by directors when translating a script to the screen, and supported by readings, screenings, discussion, and exercises, the course will lead you to a better understanding of and control over conventional and alternative approaches to narrative storytelling.
