Course Description
This course will provide a review of current important public health topics and challenges faced by social scientists tasked with solving these problems. Students will focus on the use of quantitative reasoning applied through the perspectives of different professions to identify options, inform public policy, and advise individuals and communities on health decisions. Public Health professionals commonly work in diverse team environments. Applying quantitative reasoning skills to these challenges via the common language of mathematics, ultimately builds connections between professions to devise solutions that benefit society.
