Course Description
Collaborate with stakeholders and advocate to improve health outcomes across populations. Integrate population health nursing with experiences that emphasize the concepts of health promotion and disease prevention. Assess social, environmental, and policy determinants that contribute to health outcomes. Identify effective strategies for reducing or eliminating inequities in health outcomes across populations. Use population health and nursing concepts, analytical data, along with clinical reasoning to complete a community health needs assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
