Course Description
This course is designed for upper-level undergraduate and graduate students seeking a basic understanding of hallucinogenic and psychedelic substances. The lectures will explore a diverse array of compounds, including psilocybin, lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), dimethyltryptamine (DMT), mescaline, 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), ketamine (Special K), phencyclidine (PCP), and ibogaine. The primary objective is to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of how these substances influence brain function and behavior.
