Program Description
The Civil and Architectural Engineering and Mechanics Department has been educating generations of civil engineers for more than a century. With the department's student-focused, research-driven Master of Science degree, you will work with notable faculty to solve complex problems crucial to society and everyday life, such as seismic safety, flood prevention, traffic control, water treatment and sustainable construction. Program concentrations include structures, geotechnics, hydraulics or transportation engineering. In addition to a personalized academic plan, your studies are enhanced by individualized instruction, interdisciplinary crossover and an entrepreneurial spirit that infuses every aspect of the degree program.
