Program Description
The certificate in Construction Engineering Management provides opportunities for students to develop an enhanced understanding of the construction industry in preparation to contribute to construction firms, project management consultants, and owners. Student will develop skills in construction management related to procurement, quantity takeoff and cost estimating, project planning, scheduling, and control, cash flow, equipment and labor, and safety. Upon completion, students can find roles as field engineers, field superintendents, project engineers, construction managers, cost estimators, schedulers, etc. There is a need to attract new talent to the construction industry due to retirements and the growing need to build and rebuild infrastructure.
