Graduate Certificate

Hosted by The University of Arizona Egyptian Expedition, the Graduate Certificate in Egyptian Archaeology studies the practicalities necessary for engaging in archaeological research as related to cultural settings, standard practices and official regulations in Egypt and Sudan. Intended as a supplement to master's and doctoral programs if you are currently enrolled in graduate-level study or have recently completed an advanced degree, the certificate focuses on four core areas: archaeological field methods used in Egypt and Sudan; interpretation of material culture in the conditions encountered in this region; preparation of research proposals, permit requests and required reports; and preparation of grant proposals.
