Program Description

The Master of Arts in Gender & Women's Studies is offered as part of a dual-degree program with the James E. Rogers College of Law. Students pursuing a Juris Doctor may dually enroll in the M.A. program and prepare to practice law with an understanding of feminist theories, feminist and related social movements, and critical race and ethnic studies. You'll develop an understanding of the interconnections among gender, law, public policy and more. A four-year program, the dual M.A./J.D. requires you to meet application deadlines and testing requirements for each program independently. The first two years of study alternate between the two programs.
