Learning Outcomes
- Contextualize a hydrologic problem by considering water systems at multiple scales, identifying key flow, reaction, and transport processes, defining appropriate mathematical models, and selecting informative measurements to constrain predictions of interest.
- Analyze hydrologic systems and predict the responses of the system to applied stresses, including uncertainty assessments, by synthesizing theory, measurements, and models.
- Collaborate and communicate clearly with stakeholders in order to identify predictions of interest related to groundwater/hydrogeological needs, describe the hydrologic science and measurements used in applied models, and convey the abilities and limitations of hydrologic analyses for decision support.
