Program Description
In addition to the 34-credit M.A. program in International Security Studies, the college also offers a 12-credit graduate certificate program. Ideal if you are not pursuing the M.A. degree or will pursue it later (all credits count toward the master's), the graduate certificate program reviews the security issues facing the international community from the postwar period to present day. Each of the four courses introduces you to topics such as American foreign policy, global political economy, transnational crime organizations, cybersecurity, terrorist networks and more - all while ensuring you're prepared to address challenges related to a variety of trends, from environmental to technological.
