The Linguistics minor offers a wide variety of approaches to the study of human language and students identify their 9 minor credits in thematically-related courses, selected through discussion with their Linguistics advisor. Among the area options are a focus in computational linguistics, documentation, language maintenance, morphology, Native American languages, phonetics, phonology, revitalization, semantics, syntax.
