Program Description
The 21st century workforce must be information-savvy, understanding not only the how, what, where, when and why of technology and data but how to apply that knowledge. The Master of Arts in Library and Information Science helps you do that by preparing you to organize information in the digital age. With opportunities to focus on digital information, law, public librarianship, academic librarianship, and culture, you're preparing for a career in libraries, museums, archives, government and business information centers. You may also choose concentrations that lead to a graduate certificate or opt for the accelerated B.A. and M.A. program.
