Program Description
The Graduate Certificate in Native Nation Building provides the graduate-level professional development needed if you are currently working with or plan to work with American Indian communities and organizations. You will receive a strong foundation in the ways Native nations strengthen their own capacity for effective and culturally relevant self-government and community development. The program demonstrates how nations develop the means to make and implement timely, informed decisions about their affairs. The program is 12 units, including core and elective courses, and can be completed in conjunction with a graduate degree or as a stand-alone graduate certificate.
