If you're interested in working on the frontier of biomedical research, consider an M.S. in Physiological Sciences. You'll use and help develop state-of-the-art techniques and tools to study cellular and systems physiology with the goal of building our understanding of normal physiological function and creating breakthrough treatments for disease. As a trainee, you will work side-by-side with faculty investigators who focus their research programs on cardiovascular disease, neurodegeneration, exercise, obesity, diabetes, cancer and asthma. You will graduate prepared for a career in industry or education or with the foundational knowledge to excel as you pursue a Ph.D. or M.D.
