Program Description
The Eller Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Valuation is designed for working professionals and recent graduates seeking knowledge in real estate valuation. It will provide advanced knowledge in several real estate valuation areas to lay a foundation in graduate business coursework. Additionally, this certificate will enable students who may be interested in real estate valuation roles. Students will take a minimum of 9 units within an array of areas needed to gain knowledge in valuing real estate and real estate projects.
Learning Outcomes
-Design and employ a property valuation process based on relevant financial and investment property theories and models.
-Apply concepts and techniques from complex financial topics to the Real Estate valuation process.
-Create a due diligence structure to evaluate real estate projects and employ this structure to conduct due diligence on a real project to show how value is created in the due diligence process of real estate acquisitions.
-Express complex financial information and describe the various ways in which investors can raise capital for investment properties clearly and concisely when speaking and writing.
-Integrate complex financial information and analysis into a written report in a well-organized and easy to understand manner.
