Program Description
The M.S. in Water, Society and Policy gives an enhanced understanding of the principles of hydrology, social science, water management, and law and policy. This non-thesis program combines coursework in social science, policy and hydrology with professional development activities. You will study human and environmental processes as they affect water resources and watersheds and observe, monitor and model processes on local-to-global scales. At the culmination of your studies, you will complete a project or internship, produce a report and give a final presentation. Students from participating Western Regional Graduate Program states or territories may be eligible to pay in-state tuition.
