Safety, Health, & Wellness
Safety is paramount to our success as students, staff and faculty. We are fortunate to have a community committed to safety. This commitment is evident in the high quality programs and services offered to keep our campus safe 24/7, 365 days a year. These services include our University of Arizona Police Department, Dean of Students Office, Saferide and much more.
Being a successful student means more than just getting good grades. Success at the UA includes maintaining your health and making healthy choices that support your academic, social and career goals. Our campus offers a variety of health education and support services to help you be, get, and stay healthy.
Wellness includes much more than physical health. Wellness address your emotional well being, your environment, academics, harmony between your work and social life, your finances, and your spiritual health. Mediation, exercise, a balanced diet, or balanced checkbook can go a long way toward your overall wellness. Whether you choose attending a game or playing on an intramural team, visiting CAPS counselors or enjoying a quiet moment in the Chapel of All Nations, we want you to take advantage of the many resources and support services and staff available on campus that are here to teach you about wellness and help you find and maintain wellness.
