MATH109C - Applied College Algebra with Data Analysis
Course Description
College algebra course that emphasizes data analysis. Topics include functions, rates of change, linear functions, systems of equations, exponential & logarithmic functions, and quadratic functions. Graphing calculators and spreadsheets will be used. It is not intended for students planning to take MATH 122A/B, and it will not serve as a prerequisite for that course. Except as per University policy on repeating a course, credit will not be given for this course if the student has credit in a higher level math course. Such students may be dropped from the course. Examinations are proctored. Credit will be allowed for only one of the following courses: MATH 109, MATH 109C, MATH 110, or MATH 112.
