Course Description
This course will introduce students to the wide variety of disorders that comprise the neuromuscular diseases. Students will become familiar with the classic clinical and genetic characteristics of these disorders, as well as the advances in genetics and treatment that have occurred over the past several years. The multidisciplinary approach to the care of patients with neuromuscular diseases will be emphasized.
