This class will introduce us to the work of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. We will talk about the anatomy of the vocal tract, the brain, and the ear and use this knowledge to discuss the development of speech sounds and how we learn language. We continue our journey to talk about speech and language disorders. The last part will be about hearing, i.e., how do our ears function, what is a hearing loss, and how do hearing aids work.
