Course Description

Students will learn about interdisciplinary research topics and techniques spanning the behavioral and health sciences. The research is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare by better understanding the processes of clinical judgment and decision-making and their effects on patient outcomes. They will accomplish this by administering questionnaires, chart review, database management, data analysis, and other research procedures. Grading will be based on successful completion of tasks above and the ethical treatment of human subjects.
