Course Description
This course builds upon the course content of Palliative Care I (613A). Students will acquire advanced knowledge in palliative care for special populations including communication, comprehensive symptom assessment, and symptom management in the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual realms. Students will critique palliative care research and evidence for current practice. This course is suitable for both DNP and PhD students who are considering palliative care as an area for specialty practice, quality improvement, or research.
