Course Description
You will learn to blow and form glass vessels and objects in the lab, and in lecture we will investigate the structure, composition, coloring and technological history of glass. You will practice some of the off-hand furnace glassblowing techniques that have been practiced for the last 2000 years. This course is intended for freshman and sophomore engineers interested in exploring Materials Science and Engineering.
