HUMS101 - College Success & Building Community
Course Description
Designed for first-year students with a primary major in the College of Humanities, this one-unit course will provide students with the opportunity to learn about and access resources on and off campus that will support their efforts to become confident and successful students. Students will be introduced to university and college procedures, and participate in activities designed to identify, define and support their educational, career and personal goals. As students explore these resources, not only will they develop an understanding of the community and the university as a whole, but they will also develop an understanding and appreciation for the history, culture and value that a degree in the Humanities provides.
