Course Description

This course engages students in community-based collaboration in a rural Arizona community where copper mining and cotton farming are major industries. Another major employer is Graham County Government, tourism, small business, and the service sector. Students provide service to the host community while learning about factors influencing public health in a rural community environment. Requires 6-day stay on site. Room and travel provided.
