EDP430 - Advanced Educational Psychology in Sports and Recreation
Course Description
This course will utilize major educational psychology theories to understand psychological and behavioral aspects of sport. For example, the theories of motivation, attention, attribution, skill acquisition, and group dynamics will be applied to explain home field advantage, hot hand, and choking under pressure. The course will emphasize understanding theory and using those theories to develop interventions to improve sports performance.
