Course Description
Recent developments in information systems and the strengthening of wireless networks are opening a wide range of possibilities for their application in mining activity. The concept of Digital Mine includes procedures for the use of new data transfer, telecommunication, and geolocation devices, facilitating their integration with other stages of the production process. As a result, it is possible to generate strategic information that helps make decision-making in real time, incorporating advanced functions such as autonomous equipment, virtual reality, augmented reality, and centralized monitoring. The course includes the evolution of these technologies, and the role of Change Management in recommending their implementation in new and existing projects.
