Course Description

The goal of this course is to complement NSC 406R/506R by (a) reinforcing the concepts of exercise physiology and nutritional science via application; (b) designing and implementing various laboratory tests and measurements commonly used in exercise physiology studies of humans; and (c) practicing collection, evaluation, and reporting of metabolic testing data. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the principles and methods in exercise and metabolic testing. Application of the latest scientific research in the fields of exercise physiology and nutritional science will be the focus.
