This course will introduce the theoretical foundations of advanced family therapy models. Students will explore these theories through key books and articles, which also serve as treatment manuals for these approaches. The course emphasizes understanding theory and applying it to diverse clients. Students will engage in discussions, video demonstrations, role plays, and receive one-on-one feedback to practice these therapeutic techniques. Additionally, the course will encourage personal reflection on integrating various clinical theories studied throughout the program.
