In this capstone course, you will develop a clinical portfolio which demonstrates your journey as a developing therapist. The clinical portfolio provides an opportunity to articulate your knowledge of marriage and family therapy theories and practices. You will also be asked to describe your professional skills, values, and competencies in a way that showcases your therapeutic self and your approach to marriage and family therapy. The portfolio will also require you to choose and showcase your areas of expertise and clinical approaches that you have mastered throughout the program. All students will complete a clinical portfolio and will present the key elements of your portfolio to your classmates and instructors. The completion of a passing final portfolio is required to graduate with the MFT degree.
