Program Description
The PSM in Applied Nutrition offers two tracks: Dietetics, which leads to the registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) credential; and Nutrition and Wellness, if you are interested in the nutrition, health and wellness fields. The 30-unit, 12-month, ACEND-accredited Dietetics track requires specified coursework and 1,000 supervised experiential learning hours. The 30-unit Nutrition and Wellness track can be completed in less than 24 months and requires foundational and elective courses, along with a 270-hour capstone project. Graduates of both programs develop essential skills for careers in nutrition-related roles in the public and private sectors.
