Nine units from the following:

• ASTR 588A Astrochemistry (3 units) 

• ASTR475/575 Planetary Astrobiology (3 units)

• GEOS/ASTR/PTYS 584 The Coevolution of Earth and the Bioshphere (3 units) 

• ASTR/PTYS 550 Origin of the Solar System and Other Planetary Systems (3 units) 

• MCB 537 Life in Extreme Environments (3 units)

All core courses require advanced understanding of calculus and quantitative methods in sciences. Check individual courses for possible additional requirements.

Elective coursework is not required.

Minimum GPA in minor coursework: 3.0
