Doctor of Philosophy

Ph.D. candidates in the interdisciplinary, research-focused Biomedical Engineering program are invited to customize the degree to their interests within the department's focus areas: bioinstrumentation and devices; biomaterials and tissue engineering; biomechanics; biomedical imaging and spectroscopy; biomedical informatics; biosensors; cardiovascular biomedical engineering; neuroengineering; and nanomedicine. With full doctoral funding, the program offers a flexible experience for specialization, relevant research, clinical and industrial internships, and integration with a top-tier medical school and hospital.
