Cultural Competency in Mexican/Mexican-American and Border Communities Undergraduate Certificate Requirements
Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
Complete 2 courses.
Complete at least 2 courses in the following
Course Sets:
AND
Complete 6 units: 3 units of cultural competency instruction and 3 units in an applied research project and internship with a community organization. Students would enroll in 3 units of MAS 498 and then another special section of MAS 498 to receive cultural competency instruction. Independent Studies and Special topics units would be limited to three units of either category.
Earn at least 6 credits from the following:
Cultural Competency in Mexican/Mexican-American and Border Communities Undergraduate Completion Requirements
Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
A minimum of 12 units are required in the certificate.
AND
A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in the certificate coursework.
AND
A minimum of 9 units in the certificate must be taken at the University of Arizona.
AND
A minimum of 6 upper division units are required in the certificate.
