Total Minimum Credit Requirements 15 units including:
EHS 502 Environmental Monitoring Methods (3)
EHS 518 Introduction to Human Health Risk Assessment (3)
EHS 584 Fundamentals of Industrial and Environmental Health (3)
2 additional courses (3 units each) approved by the EHS Minor Faculty Advisor (6)
Six units of elective coursework is required. Some examples of electives include, but are not limitted to:
BIOS 576a Biostatistics for Public Health (3)
BIOS 576b Biostatistics in Research (3)
EHS 575 Environmental and Occupational Health (3)
EHS 603 Applied Analysis Environmental Data (3)
EPID 589 Envirnomental, Occupational and Injury Epidemiology (3)
Students are advised to discuss any additional expectation particular faculty members may have when identifying a potential Minor Advisor.
