Emergency Medical Services Minor Requirements (R16310)

Emergency Medical Services Minor Requirements

Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:

Emergency Medical Technician Requirement (R16310/L10)

Complete 1 course. This course may be waived with EMT certification.

Complete at least 1 of the following Courses:

AND

Core Science (R16310/L20)

Complete 3 units minimum

Earn at least 3 credits from the following:

AND

Healthcare (R16310/L30)

Complete 3 units minimum

Earn at least 3 credits from the following:

AND

EMS Core Requirements (R16310/L40)

Complete 12 units minimum. Students may only complete EMD 393A, EMD 393C, EMD 493A or EMD 493C towards the EMS minor.

Earn at least 12 credits from the following:

Emergency Medical Services Minor Graduation Requirements (R16311)

Emergency Medical Services Minor Graduation Requirements

Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:

Minor Units (R16311/L10)

A minimum of 22 units are required in the minor.

AND

Minor GPA (R16311/L20)

A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required in the minor coursework.

AND

Minor Residency (R16311/L30)

A minimum of 7 units in the minor must be taken at the University of Arizona.

AND

Minor Upper Division (R16311/L40)

A minimum of 12 upper division units are required in the minor.
