Program Description
The Educational Research Methodology Graduate Certificate prepares you to conduct educational research. Teachers and administrators often possess knowledge of curriculum and instruction but may not have sufficient methodological and statistical skills to perform or interpret educational research. This program addresses the development of these abilities and affords students in the social and behavioral sciences with an opportunity to develop intermediate-level skills for conducting research and evaluating programs. It requires 14 credit hours including Statistical Methods in Education; Educational Tests and Measurements; Intro to Educational Research; and Selected Applications of Statistical Methods. Three credit hours may be substituted by another course.
