Program Description
The Graduate Certificate in Human Rights and Documentary Media not only provides extensive training in documentary media, it shows you how to use this training to advance human rights. In addition to traditional coursework, you will learn from filmmakers and media activists via internships, videoconferences and a mentor-led capstone project. The graduate certificate is for those with a documentary media background and an interest in human rights; recent undergraduates with a passion for social justice; and human rights stakeholders currently working in nongovernmental organizations who wish to add documentary media to promote their causes.
