Completion requirement

9 to 12 units must be in courses from departments other than Mathematics.  See the Priori Acceptable list for approved courses. Students may take a course outside of this list with the advance approval of the DGS.

At least one year-long course sequence in mathematics which is not dual-numbered must be included. 

All students in the Mathematics MA program are required to have a Graduate Faculty Advisor (also called Major Professor)
