Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
The course sequence required is determined by the Foundations Writing Evaluation (link).

Two course sequence:
1. Writing 101 or 101A or 107
2. Writing 102 or 108

One course sequence:
1. Writing 109H* or Writing 305
* A grade of C or higher is required in Writing 109H to satisfy the requirement with this course.

Three course sequence:
1. Writing 106
2. Writing 107**
3. Writing 108**
**Upon recommendation of the Writing Program students who complete Writing 106 may take:
- Writing 101 or 101A instead of Writing 107
- Writing 102 instead of Writing 108

Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
Complete 1 course. Please review your major requirements or consult your advisor before enrolling in a Foundations Mathematics course.
Earn at least 2.67 credits from the following:

Credit will not be given for a course at an equivalent or lower level than prior language credit earned. Course must be taken for a grade, not as pass/fail. Third semester or higher courses used to fulfill this requirement may also be used to fulfill other requirements. A grade of C or higher is required in the course that satisfies the second language requirement.

Demonstrate second semester proficiency in a second language by completing a sequence of courses through a second semester or higher level or by passing a language proficiency examination at the second semester level or higher.

Introduces students admitted to the university as First-Year students to General Education, reflecting on learning, and developing an ePortfolio. (1 unit)

Professional Admission is required prior to taking the courses in this section. Please speak with a College of Education advisor for requirements and deadlines. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.500 is required for professional admission to the program. Additionally, a cumulative and major GPA of 2.500 must be maintained to progress through and graduate from the major.
Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
Complete 11 courses, 33 units. A grade of "C" or better is required for all courses. SERP 434 may only be completed one time to satisfy major requirements.

Professional Admission required. Students admitted to the Accelerated Master's Program will complete SERP 502, 504, and 515 in place of 402, 404, and 415, respectively.
Complete at least 11 of the following Courses:

Complete 3 courses, 6 units. Students will complete SERP 475 (3) three times for (2) two units each. Professional Admission required.
Complete at least 3 of the following Courses:

A minimum of 63 units must be completed in the major.

A minimum 2.500 GPA is required in the major coursework.
AND
A minimum of 18 units of upper-division major coursework must be completed.
AND
A minimum of 18 units in the pre-major, supporting coursework, professional core, and/or major must be taken at the University of Arizona.
A minor is optional for this major. Consult with your advisor to select a minor or discuss other options such as selecting a second major.
Mild to Moderate Disabilities Inclusive Education Emphasis
Teaching Emphasis Area
