All students enrolled in performance studies (MUSI) are required to participate concurrently in an appropriate large conducted ensemble (MUS 400A-Z). Ensemble placement will be determined by an audition process designed and administered by the ensemble directors in consultation with the applied faculty and approved by the Director of the School of Music. Accompanying or coached ensembles may fulfill this requirement for keyboard, guitar, or composition students.
Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
Complete 1 course.
Complete at least 1 of the following

Complete 9 units.
Earn at least 9 credits from the following:
AND
Complete 6 units.
Earn at least 6 credits from the following:
Music Minor Graduation Requirements
Fulfill ALL of the following requirements:
A minimum of 18 units are required in the minor.
AND
A minimum 2.0 GPA is required in the minor. All University of Arizona MUS/MUSI coursework from MUS 100-499H to be included in minor GPA, with the following exceptions: MUS 195X, 199, 299, 399, 493, 494, 499, MUSI 391, 491, 493.
AND
A minimum of 9 units in the minor must be taken at the University of Arizona.
AND
A minimum of 9 upper division units are required in the minor.
