Resident Intensive Summer Experience (RISE) will be held August 2023 in a virtual format. During RISE, students will be immersed in learning activities tailored to their specific program and specialty. Students will meet with faculty advisors, fellow classmates, and learn details about their graduate degree program and specialty.
On-Campus Program Requirements:
DNP students will be required to attend the in person mandatory components of the curriculum:
Clinical Immersion – 3-5 days at a time during student’s clinical year
CI 1- January (White Coat Ceremony)
CI 2- April
CI 3- November
Clinical Preceptorships – Final year of the program
Clinical Course Progression
Total program requires a minimum of 900 Clinical Hours. Clinical rotations begin during the spring, after successful completion of 609a Advanced Health Assessment. Refer to the specialty's program guide for detailed information.
