Program Description

Pave the way to a better, brighter society with this rigorous program geared toward building the future leaders of tomorrow. The Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs deconstructs how public and nonprofit organizations are managed, financed and organized. Students learn how public policies which affect all communities and in every sector are made and implemented at the local, state and federal levels. Armed with this knowledge, students develop insights into how to effectively create change that makes a difference. Coursework hones skills such as leadership, ethics, management, critical thinking and public speaking. This major acts as a strong building block for graduate study in law, specialized planning and public administration.
